Woman, 42, sexually assaulted in Micklefield

A witness appeal has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a sexual assault on a 42 year old woman in High Wycombe.

At about 10.00pm on Wednesday 4th May 2016, a 42-year-old woman was walking down Roebuck Avenue when a man approached from behind and grabbed hold of her.

The victim managed to elbow the man who let go of her and ran off in the direction of Misbourne Avenue and Hicks Farm Rise. The victim was not injured during this incident.

The man is described white, 5ft 6ins, with short dark hair.

Investigating officer, Det Con Matt Kent from Force CID based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘We believe that this is an isolated incident however it was obviously very distressing for the victim.

We are appealing for information from anyone that may have witnessed this offence or who may have seen anything suspicious in this area at this time.
