Cigarettes and cash taken during robbery at the Tesco Express in High Street, Burnham
On the night of Tuesday 17th May 2016 three people wearing ski masks entered the Tesco Express in High Street, Burnham and stole a large quantity of cigarettes and a sum of cash.
The robbery occurred shortly before closing time at around 10.45pm.
During the robbery staff were verbally threatened by two of the men who were in possession of a sledge hammer and a crowbar. Thankfully, no-one was injured.
The three robbers made their escape in a vehicle parked outside being driven by a fourth person. This car is described as a dark coloured Subaru Impreza estate.
Sgt Dan Mckenzie, officer in the case from Local CID Taplow, said: ‘I would appeal to anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible.
I would like to reassure the local community that a thorough investigation is under way.‘
