Workshop and cars damaged in fire at a BMW garage in London Road, High Wycombe
Fire broke out at a commercial garage in London Road, High Wycombe during the late evening of Tuesday 14th June 2016.
The fire occurred at the premises of Sytner BMW in London Road. The road was closed for several hours while firefighters extinguished the fire.
At 10.02pm firefighters were called to the incident. Three fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station, one from Beaconsfield fire station, one from Marlow fire station, one from Gerrards Cross fire station and one from Slough fire station. Four officers also attended the scene bringing the total number of personnel from the fire service at the scene to more than 30.
Three main jets, ten sets of breathing apparatus, thermal imaging cameras and Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.
The workshop and about 20 cars were damaged by fire, smoke and heat.
