Boy, 17, injured during GBH attack on The Rye by men carrying a baseball bat and a knife
Just after 2.30pm on Friday 8th July 2016 a 17 year old boy was sitting in The Rye Park in High Wycombe when he was approached by three men, one was carrying a baseball bat while another had a knife.
The men assaulted the victim before snatching his belt and rucksack. There was an altercation between the victim and the offenders and as a result the victim sustained minor injuries to the face.
The victim was taken to High Wycombe Minor Injuries but has since been discharged.
Two of the offenders were black and one was Asian. The offenders are described as wearing dark clothing.
Investigating officer, Det Con Maddy Wright of High Wycombe Force CID, said: ‘This was a very serious and upsetting incident for the victim and we are appealing for any information that could help us trace these men.
I would encourage anyone else with any other information about the incident to contact us by calling us on 101.
