Building used as children’s nursery caught fire in Burkes Road, Beaconsfield

Firefighters were called to a property in Burkes Road, Beaconsfield at 4.44pm on Saturday 16th July 2016 after fire broke out in the ground floor and first floor of a two storey detached building used as children’s nursery.

One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station, two from High Wycombe fire station and one from Hayes fire station. An officer also attended.

A main jet, two hose reels, four sets of breathing apparatus, a turntable ladder and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

A re-inspection of the scene was carried out at 9.00pm.
