Boy, 16, assaulted in Amersham

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an assault which took place in in Hryons Lane, Amersham at about 2.15pm on Monday 18th July 2016.

The victim, a 16 year old boy, was approached by a man who pushed him and then punched him in the chest. The victim did not sustain any injuries in the incident.

The offender is a male, aged between 20 and 25, about 5ft 11ins with a shaved head and was wearing a red t-shirt with white lettering on the back.

Investigating officer PC Daniel Thompson, based at Taplow police station, said: ‘This was an unprovoked attack on a young boy who was going about his daily business.

We believe there may have been a group of about three females nearby who may have seen this incident and I am keen to speak to them to get any information they may have.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone who may have information about the incident to please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
