Group of men with a firearm carry out aggravated burglary in Iver
On Monday 1st August 2016, between 11.15pm and 11.30pm, a group of four to five men approached an occupied static caravan at Thorney Stables, Thorney Lane North, Iver and attempted to gain access to the property. One of the offenders was carrying a firearm.
However nothing was taken and no one was hurt during the incident. The offenders made off in a dark coloured BMW and a dark coloured Vauxhall Astra.
Senior Investigating Officer, Stuart Cook of Force CID based at Aylesbury Police Station said: ‘We are appealing for anyone who has information about this incident, we are particularly keen on anyone who may have seen a dark coloured BMW and a dark coloured Astra on Thorney Lane North, heading towards Iver high street at around 11.30pm.
We believe this is an isolated incident and our investigation is ongoing.
We have increased patrols in the area to reassure the community.
