Rail services resume to and from London Marylebone
On Wednesday 5th October 2016 Chiltern Railways are planning to run the regular timetable for trains to and from London Marylebone.
By late evening on Tuesday 4th October 2016 engineers from Network Rail had repaired the cabling damaged by a fire which broke out at approximately 4.00am on Tuesday 4th October 2016.
Occasional shuttle services resumed late on Tuesday 4th October 2016 between Marylebone and West Ruislip. The services allowed passengers to connect to trains being run on the emergency timetable which had been introduced following the disruption on Tuesday. Trains have also started running on the Aylesbury via Amersham line into and from Marylebone.
However passengers are advised to check before travelling in case there are any changes. Services may be shorter and busier than usual as trains will be out of their normal positions.
