Container filled with logs caught fire in Great Kingshill

At 6.40am on Tuesday 8th November 2016 firefighters were called to Stag Lane, Great Kingshill to extinguish a fire involving an ISO shipping container filled with logs.

The fire damaged a tractor, forklift truck and the fascia and soffits of a neighbouring property. A 1,000-litre tank containing kerosene heating oil was also ruptured buy the fire.

Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station, one from Beaconsfield fire station. An officer was also present at the scene.

Three main jets and cutting equipment were used by the firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.
