Fire damages High Wycombe Rugby Union Football Club in Kingsmead Road, High Wycombe

Firefighters were called to the High Wycombe Rugby Union Football Club in Kingsmead Road, High Wycombe at 12.35am on Tuesday 6th December 2016.

Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as two from Beaconsfield fire station. Three officers also attended the scene bringing the total number of fire service personnel at the scene to about twenty.

Two hose reels, four sets of breathing apparatus and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

A store room on the ground floor of the building was severely damaged by the fire, there was also smoke damage to first floor.
