| December 18, 2016

For many of the people helped by Wycombe Homeless Connection homelessness is a journey. But can you illustrate it?

In 2017 the Wycombe Homeless Connection charity, which is based in Castle Street, High Wycombe, will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary. To mark a decade of fighting homelessness they are planning ten special events, one of which is an art competition aimed at individuals aged 11-18.

The brief of the competition is to create an A5 to A2 piece of art which can be photography, graphic design, paint, pencil or pastel on the theme of ‘Journeys‘. Entries will be on display in the exhibition space of High Wycombe library during March and April 2017.

The competition is divided into two age categories (11 to 14 years old and 15 to 18 years old). The winner of each age category will win a prize and have their entry featured in Wycombe Homeless Connections tenth Anniversary booklet. The judges of the competition include the Mayor Of High Wycombe with the prize of a Samsung Galaxy Tablet E 9.6 for the winner.

Entries to the competition close at 4.00pm on Friday 17th February 2017.

Further information on the competition, including how to enter and how it will be judged, can be found on the Wycombe Homeless Connection website.
