Man sustained broken rib during attack by teenagers in Eden Shopping Centre, High Wycombe
A man required hospital treatment after being assaulted by a group of teenagers in the Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe on Friday 23rd December 2016.
The incident occurred between 7.30pm and 7.45pm. The victim, a 33 year old man, was walking through the Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe near the Subway fast food restaurant close to the bus station when he was assaulted by five teenagers aged approximately 15 to 16 years of age.
During the attack the victim fell to the ground where the offenders kicked and punched him. The victim sustained a broken rib, bruising and facial injuries which required hospital treatment however he has since been discharged.
Thames Valley Police has launched an appeal for witnesses following the incident which they are treating as assault occasioning ABH. Anyone with any information about the incident or witnessed it is being asked to contact investigating officer PC Jessica Martin, based at High Wycombe police station, via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.

On Friday 30th December 2016 police arrested a 14 year old boy from High Wycombe on suspicion of assault occasioning ABH in connection with the incident. The boy has been released on police bail until Saturday 11th February 2016.
