Boy, 12, punched in face and body during assault in High Wycombe
A 12 year old boy was injured during an assault in High Wycombe on Monday 2nd January 2017.
At around 3.50pm a boy aged 12 was in Chequers Ave, High Wycombe when a group of six or seven boys, aged about 13 or 14 years old, approached and assaulted him. The victim sustained bruising and cuts after being punched in his face and body.
The offenders were wearing dark hooded jumpers with dark face coverings and Nike side bags.
Thames Valley Police have arrested a 14 year old boy from High Wycombe on suspicion of one count of assault by beating in connection with the incident.
Investigating officer PC Colin Targett from High Wycombe police station said: ‘This is a very serious incident which has left the victim shaken and injured. I would ask members of the public to contact me with any information they may have by calling 101.
