Gritters take to the roads as snow falls in High Wycombe on Thu 12th Jan 2017
Snow fell in High Wycombe during the afternoon of Thursday 12th January 2017.
At approximately 4.20pm the first flakes of snow started falling. An hour later a noticeable covering of snow was present in the residential areas of the town and on untreated roads.
Gritters have taken to the roads to ensure traffic can move during rush hour. A second gritting run is expected to take place after the rush hour to ensure the roads remain passable.
Further snowfalls are forecast up to 9.00pm on Thursday 12th January 2017.
