Man charged with murder following fatal stabbing in Aylesbury
Thames Valley Police have charged an 18 year old man with murder after a man was stabbed in Aylesbury on Monday 16th January 2017.
At about 10.50am on Monday 16th January 2017 police officers were called to a property in Brompton Close, Aylesbury following reports that a man had been stabbed.
The victim, a 26 year old man, was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital but sadly died in hospital in the early hours of Tuesday 17th January 2017. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
On Wednesday 18th January 2017 the victim was formally identified as Daniel Lavender, aged 26, of Aylesbury.
A post mortem was carried out on Tuesday 17th January 2017, the cause of death has been confirmed as complications from a stab wound to the abdomen.
An 18 year old man of Brompton Close, Aylesbury has been charged with one count of murder. He is due to appear at court on Thursday 19th January 2017. He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Monday16th January 2017 and rearrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday 17th January 2017.
