Plastic set on fire and posted through letterbox of property in Green Street, High Wycombe
On Sunday 15th January what appears to be a piece of plastic was set on fire and posted through the letterbox of a property in Green Street, High Wycombe.
The incident occurred at approximately 6.00pm. At the time there were five occupants inside the house including four children. No one was injured during the incident and minor damage was caused to the property.
Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following the incident which is being treated as a case of arson with intent to endanger life.
Investigating officer Det Sgt Timothy Robins from High Wycombe Force CID said: ‘This incident happened on a busy residential street and it is likely that a lot of motorists would have been passing through this area at this time.
I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious or who has any information that could assist us with our investigation. Please contact me via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
