Police officer bitten following altercation involving nine people at the Chequers Tree Pub, High Street, Prestwood
On Sunday 5th March 2017, at around 12.55am, an altercation took place between at least nine people inside the Chequers Tree Pub in the High Street, Prestwood.
Two men sustained facial injuries and a third man had a bitten finger as a result of the altercation. All three men were taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A police officer was also taken to hospital after being bitten on his thigh. He has now been discharged.
Three women, who were also victims in the altercation, were not injured.
Investigating officer, Det Con Rebekah Tyler from Aylesbury Force CID, said: ‘It’s believed that there may have been a disagreement over a taxi shortly before the incident, and we are currently working to ascertain the exact circumstances of what took place.

A 59 year old man from Holmer Green and a 25 year old man from Watford have been arrested on suspicion of ABH and violent disorder. They are currently on bail until Wednesday 5th April 2017.
An 18 year old man from Stevenage has been arrested on suspicion of GBH, ABH, battery and violent disorder. He has been bailed until Friday 5th May 2017.
