Blackpool were the visitors at Adams Park for a League Two match with Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday 11th March 2017.
In the first few minutes, of what turned out to be a lively game, Blackpool made several attempts on the Wycombe goal, however both shots were blocked. Adebayo Akinfenwa came close to scoring in the tenth minute but his shot was too high.
Both teams had opportunities in the first half but the score was still goalless at half time.
The second half started where the first half left off with both sides have opportunities but failing to convert.
In the eighty sixth minute Max Müller fouled Jamille Matt giving Blackpool a penalty opportunity. Brad Potts took the penalty but Jamal Blackman, the Wycombe goalkeeper, saved the penalty which was heading into the bottom right corner of the Wycombe goal.
A goalless draw was the result of the game which was both lively and entertaining.
With the points shared Wycombe remain in eleventh position in League Two with fifty one points from thirty six games.
During today’s match Wycombe managed 55% possession with just two of their twelve shots on goal on target. Two of Blackpool’s eleven shots on goal were on target. The match saw twenty nine fouls, fourteen by Wycombe players and fifteen from Blackpool.
The attendance at Adams Park was 3,774.
