Notts County visited Adams Park on Saturday 25th March 2017 for a League Two match.
The match started at a lively pace with both sides having chances, in the twenty seventh minute it was Notts County who made the breakthrough when a close range shot from Shola Ameobi found its way into the bottom left corner of the Wycombe goal.
Both sides had further opportunities but neither could score, despite coming close.
In the sixty first minute Wycombe appealed for a penalty when Myles Weston went down in the box however the penalty appeal was turned down.
The match stats show that Wycombe managed 52% possession, however of their twelve shots on goal just two were on target. Notts County placed four of their eight shots on goal on target. Twenty five fouls marred the game with fourteen committed by Wycombe players and eleven by Notts County.
As a result of today’s game Wycombe drop to eleventh in League Two and slip further from the play off places with fifty five points from thirty nine games.
