Police appeal for information following theft from a petrol station in Wendover Road, Aylesbury
A theft from a petrol station in Aylesbury has promoted an appeal for information by Thames Valley Police.
At around 8.45pm on Sunday 26th March 2017 a man walked into the Esso petrol station in Wendover Road, Aylesbury through the main customer door and directed a member of staff into the staff area of the shop.
The man then proceeded to steal money from the till and safe before leaving through the rear exit of the shop.
The offender is described as wearing a large black padded coat with the hood up, blue jeans and had his face covered with red material.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for anyone who may have any information that could assist with their investigation, or for anyone who was in the garage any time before 8.45pm, to please contact Detective Constable Christopher Downs based at Aylesbury Force CID on the non-emergency police number 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police have arrested a 49 year old man from Greece and a 46 year old woman from Aylesbury in connection with this incident. They are currently on bail until Friday 5th May 2017.
