Road surfacing works week commencing 17th Apr 2017

Rolling out the new surface: Transport for Buckinghamshire team resurfacing a road at Whaddon.

Week commencing Monday 17th April 2017 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.

The dates shown are subject to change at short notice.

Conventional Surfacing Programme

A4010 Wycombe Road, Princes Risborough between Elmdale Gardens and Culverton Crossroads : Monday 17th April 2017 to Friday 21st April 2017 – Night time carriageway surfacing and the reinstatement of road markings using a road closure between 7.00pm and 6.00am.

A4010 Bradenham Road, Bradenham between Bradenham Wood Lane to West Wycombe Village : Wednesday 19th April 2017 to Friday 28th April 2017 – Daytime kerbing works using temporary traffic signals between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Plane and Patch Programme

Nalders Road, Chesham between Taylors Road to 100m north of West View : Tuesday 18th April 2017 to Wednesday 19th April 2017 – Day time targeted patching using a road closure between 9.30am and 5.00pm.

Footway Surfacing Programme

High Street, Burnham : Overall scheme from Monday 17th April 2017 to Tuesday 9th May 2017 – Daytime and night time road and footway maintenance work including repairs to kerbing and drainage.

• Gore Road to Jennery Lane : Monday 17th April 2017 to Friday 28th April 2017 – 24 hour road closure excluding weekends. Works include the repairs to the blockwork tables, kerbing and drainage. The works will be carried out in isolated areas throughout this section of the High Street thus allowing access to unaffected areas.
• Gore Road to Lincoln Hatch Lane/Windsor Lane : Monday 17th April 2017 to Friday 28th April 2017 – Restricted working between 9.30am to 4.30pm. Works include footway, kerbing, drainage and sign repairs. These will be undertaken using localised traffic and pedestrian management. Access will be maintained.
• Gore Road to Lincoln Hatch Lane/Windsor Lane : Monday 24th April 2017 to Tuesday 9th May 2017 – Night time closure between 7.00pm to 6.00am. Works include carriageway resurfacing over the whole length of the High Street. Vehicle access will be restricted but pedestrian access will be maintained.

High Street/Market Square, Chesham : Monday 17th April 2017 to Friday 21st April 2017 – Daytime upgrade of the existing block paving along the eastern footway along with the repair of localised drainage issues, the replacement of the existing drainage channel and targeted tree maintenance work using localised footway closures and carriageway restrictions between 8.00am and 6.00pm.

Market Square, Aylesbury : Monday 17th April 2017 to Friday 28th April 2017 – Daytime and night time targeted maintenance work to existing block paving in the carriageway and footways along with the repair of localised drainage issues and the removal of the rising bollard assembly, using localised footway closures and carriageway restrictions. Work within the carriageway will be restricted to night time working only using road closures between 6.00pm and 6.00am. Daytime working on market days will be restricted to localised footway closures between 10.00am and 4.00pm.
