Pedestrian sustained serious injuries in hit and run at Chesham

A pedestrian sustained serious injured following a hit and run in Chesham on Tuesday 25th April 2017.

The hit and run occurred at about 8.40am in Ashley Green Road, close to the Bellcote Public House. A man was crossing the road when he was hit by a navy blue van.

The driver of the van failed to stop at the scene following the collision. The driver is described as an Asian male, aged between 20 and 30 years old and of a stocky build.

The victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital where he is still being treated.
