Car collides with four vehicles in Hammersley Lane, High Wycombe

At around 1.05pm on Tuesday 27th June 2017 officers from Thames Valley Police were called to Hammersley Lane, High Wycombe following reports of a road traffic collision.

A black Mercedes was travelling along Hammersley Lane, High Wycombe when it was in collision with a green Rover.

The Mercedes has then continued traveling along Hammersley Lane towards Loudwater, about half a mile down the road it was then in collision with three parked cars.

A male driver in his forties was taken to hospital in a serious condition. A female driver was also taken to hospital for treatment but her injuries are not believed to be serious at this stage.

At 1.09pm firefighters were called to the scene. The firefighters gave first aid and made the scene safe. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station.

Investigating Officer, Police Constable Richard Martin, of the Joint Operations Roads Police Unit, based at Amersham, said: ‘We are appealing for witnesses following this incident.
