7,000 square metres of stubble caught fire in field at Flackwell Heath

Firefighters were called to a field near Highlea Avenue, Flackwell Heath on the evening of Monday 3rd July 2017 after around 7,000 square metres of stubble caught fire.

At 6.55pm one fire appliance with crew was dispatched to the incident from Beaconsfield fire station was well as one from High Wycombe fire station and one from Amersham fire station. An officer also attended.

Two main jets, water backpacks and beaters were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.
