Police appeal for witnesses to collision between car and motorcycle on A40 in Stokenchurch
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a serious injury collision in Stokenchurch.
On Sunday 10th September 2017, at around 11.55am, a black and red Triumph motorcycle was in collision with a grey Vauxhall Zafira on the A40 Oxford Road between Junction 5 of the M40 and Aston Hill.
The Triumph motorcycle had been travelling from Aston Hill towards Junction 5 of the M40 while the Vauxhall Zafira was travelling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist, a 50 year old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford by ambulance where he remains in a stable condition.
The occupants of the Vauxhall Zafira were not injured.
Investigating officers from Thames Valley Police would like to speak to anyone who either witnessed the collision or either vehicle prior to it or anyone who may have any dashcam footage of the collision.
