Five tonnes of straw caught fire in farm building at Holmer Green

Firefighters were called to Penfold Lane, Holmer Green at 5.08pm on Wednesday 18th OCtober 2017 after approximately five tonnes of straw caught fire in a farm building.

Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station and one from Amersham fire station. An officer also attended.

The firefighters used a main jet and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan during the operation to extinguish the fire.
