Police carry out drugs raids at properties in High Wycombe

Police have executed warrants and obtained closure orders at two properties in High Wycombe.

On Wednesday 6th December 2017, police officers attended two properties at Conway House, Hicks Farm Rise, High Wycombe to carry out the warrants under the misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

Following the execution of the warrants two men were arrested by police officers who also cautioned a woman in her twenties for possession of cannabis.

A 59 year old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

A 49 year old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, on suspicion of handling stolen goods and on suspicion of possession of cannabis.

Both the men were were arrested have been released under investigation.

A three month closure order at number 3 and number 10 Conway House has also been obtained by Thames Valley Police. The closure orders means only named individuals can enter the property.

PC Mark Martin of Wycombe East Neighbourhood policing team, said: ‘We have carried out a number of warrants following reports from the community about drug dealing from those premises and now obtained closure orders on the properties.

During the warrants we seized a number of wraps of crack cocaine, tools, clothing and a Vauxhall Astra.

Our investigation is ongoing and I would like to thank the community for their support following our action.

We will not tolerate drug dealing in High Wycombe and we will continue to take action such as this to disrupt this behaviour.
