Chiltern Railways to run services to and from London Marylebone on Boxing Day 2017

Chiltern Railways have announced details of their Boxing Day 2017 train services to and from London Marylebone.

On Monday 25th December 2017, Christmas Day, there will be no train services at all.

However on Tuesday 26th December 2017, Boxing Day, trains will run from approximately 8.00am to 8.00pm with two trains per hour in each direction on the London Marylebone to Oxford Parkway route.

Boxing Day services will call at London Marylebone, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Princes Risborough, Haddenham & Thame Parkway, Bicester Village and Oxford Parkway. No services will call at Wembley Stadium.

By offering services on a day that train companies are traditionally closed, Chiltern Railways are allowing Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire residents to access the capital and for Londoners to enjoy a day’s shopping via Bicester Village station.

The first northbound train service will depart from London Marylebone to Oxford Parkway via Bicester Village at 8.00am. The last train will depart London Marylebone at 8.15pm terminating at Princes Risborough at 8.55pm.

The first Southbound train will run from Princes Risborough to London at 8.54am and the last will run from Oxford Parkway via Bicester Village to London Marylebone at 8.26pm.
