Woman injured following two car collision on M40

A woman was injured following a collision involving two cars on the M40 during the morning of Wednesday 14th February 2018.

The collision occurred on the Northbound carriageway between Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) and Junction 3 (Loudwater).

At 7.50am firefighters were called to the incident. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station, one from Gerrards Cross fire station and one from High Wycombe fire station. An officer also attended.

Hydraulic rescue equipment was used by the firefighters to release the injured woman from the wreckage of the vehicle in which she had been travelling.
