Safe stolen during burglary at bookmakers in Desborough Road, High Wycombe

A safe was stolen during a late night robbery at a bookmakers in Desborough Road, High Wycombe on Monday 2nd April 2018.

Three burglars carried out the robbery at around 11.00pm on Monday 2nd April 2018 at Coral bookmakers in Desborough Road. During the robbery a safe was taken from the premises.

Entry was gained to the bookmakers through the front door. After taking the safe the burglars fled via an adjacent alleyway and onto the service road at the back of the building. From the service road the robbery made their getaway in two vehicles described as a white transit style van and a light coloured Land Rover Defender.

The first offender is described as a slim white man, wearing a dark blue hoody with three light blue stripes down the sleeves, black trousers and black gloves.

The second offender is described as a slim white man, wearing a dark blue hoody, black trousers and black gloves.

The third offender is described as a large white man, wearing a blue hoody, black trousers and black gloves, scarf and a black cap with a white emblem.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Chris Mavers, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘Desborough Road is typically busy therefore I urge anyone who may have witnessed this incident or can provide information that may assist this investigation to come forward.

I encourage anyone who recognises the description of the three offenders to also get in touch.
