| September 7, 2018

The 2018 ‘Big Sleepout’ in support of Wycombe Homeless Connection is to be held at Adams Park in Sands.

For the first time the event will be held at the home of Wycombe Wanderers following an initiative by Wanderers player Michael Harriman who, together with his wife, approached the Wycombe Homeless Connection to offer their services as ambassadors.

The 2018 Big Sleepout will start at 6.15pm on Saturday 24th November 2018 (after the home match against Shrewsbury) and end at 7.00am on Sunday 25th November 2018.

Any participant in the Big Sleepout who raises at least £20 in sponsorship will also be given a free match ticket by the football club.

For the first time families with children (over 12 years of age) will be able to take part in the sleep out. As part of the event there will also be a Quiz Night and informal supper. Tickets will available for just the quiz and the supper for anyone who doesn’t want to participate in the Big Sleepout itself. Those who do sleep out will be given hot drinks and a breakfast in the morning.

Further information about the 2018 Big Sleepout can be can be found on the Wycombe Homeless Connection website at www.wyhoc.org.uk.

Registration to participate in the event is now open, however places are limited to just 150, so anyone wishing to take part is encouraged to act quickly.
