Roadworks for the week ahead – Mon 1st Oct 2018

Week commencing Monday 1st October 2018 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.

The work is weather dependent therefore the dates shown are subject to change at short notice.

Carriageway Surfacing Schemes

A4146 Stoke Hammond Bypass – A418 Wing Road roundabout to A4146 Willowbridge roundabout : Monday 1st October 2018 to Sunday 7th October 2018 :

• For safety reasons access on to the bypass (Northbound/Southbound) at the Chelmscote Roundabout junction will now remain closed until the bypass reopens completely on Sunday 7th October 2018.
• There will be narrower approaches and restricted circulation on the A418 Wing roundabout during nights in the final week of resurfacing work on Stoke Hammond Bypass, from 7.00pm to 6.00am between Tuesday 2 October 2018 and Thursday 4 October 2018, and again between 7.00pm on Friday 5th October 2018 and 6.00am on Monday 8th October 2018.
• Monday 1st October 2018 to Friday 5th October 2018 (Southbound ) towards Wing – carriageway closed completely for surfacing teams to remove and replace surface material. Northbound : towards Milton Keynes – carriageway will reopen.
• Weekend 5th October 2018 to 8th October 2018 : 7.00pm Friday to 6.00am Monday – bypass closed in both directions for road markings, studs and clear-up.
• Sunday 8th October 2018 at 6.00am – bypass reopens.

A422 Brackley Road, Buckingham – Welsh Lane to 100 metres east of Stowe Road : Monday 1st October 2018 – Conventional surfacing works taking place using a night time road closure between 7.00pm and 6.00am.

A416 Amersham Road, Chesham Bois – Copperkins Lane to Chiltern Road : Thursday 4th October 2018 – Conventional surfacing works taking place using a night time road closure between 7.00pm and 6.00am.

Woodside Road/Woodside Avenue, Beaconsfield – Whole length of road : Monday 1st October 2018 – Micro-surfacing works taking place using a day time road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Simmons Way, Lane End – B482 to Beech Avenue : Monday 1st October 2018 to Tuesday 2nd October 2018 – Micro-surfacing works taking place using a day time road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Wabourne Road/Roman Way/Cherwell Road/Evenlode Road/Brent Road, Bourne End – Whole length of road : Tuesday 2nd October 2018 to Thursday 4th October 2018 – Micro-surfacing works taking place using a day time road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Windsor Road, Gerrards Cross – A404 to Hedgerley Lane : Monday 1st October 2018 to Wednesday 3rd October 2018 – Ironwork adjustments taking place using temporary traffic signals between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Lionel Avenue/Orchard Close/The Cedars, Wendover – Whole length of road : Tuesday 2nd October 2018 to Wednesday 3rd October 2018 – Ironwork adjustments taking place using localised traffic management between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Glade Road, Prestwood – Rignall Road junction : Thursday 4th October 2018 – Ironwork adjustments taking place using multi way signals between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Fulmer Road/Windmill Hill, Denham – Fulmer Lane to Fulmer Common Road : Thursday 4th October 2018 to Wednesday 10th October 2018 – Ironwork adjustments taking place using multi way signals between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Middle Road, Denham – Side Road to the end : Thursday 4th October 2018 to Saturday 6th October 2018 – Ironwork adjustments taking place using localised traffic management between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Templewood Lane, Seer Green – Whole length of road : Monday 1st October 2018 – Installation of road studs using ‘stop and go’ traffic management between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
