Fleetwood Town 1-1 Wycombe Wanderers

Wycombe Wanderers travelled to Fleetwood Town for a League One match on the evening of Tuesday 2nd October 2018.

Although both sides has chances at the start of the game it was Fleetwood who took the lead in the thirty seventh minute when Paddy Madden scored with a header from the centre of the box, the ball finding the top right corner of the Wycombe goal.

At half time Fleetwood still had the advantage however when play resumed Wycombe were by far the more dominant team making several attempts on the Fleetwood goal.

It was in the fifty sixth minute that Wycombe got their reward when Adebayo Akinfenwa shot from the centre of the box with the ball finding the bottom right corner of the Fleetwood goal.

The match ended as a draw with both sides having scored one goal apiece. Following tonight’s game Wycombe drop to twenty first position in League One and into the relegation zone with nine points from eleven games.
