Wycombe Wanderers visited Coventry City for a League One game on Saturday 13th October 2018.
The first shot on goal was made by Wycombe in the fourth minute of the match however the attempt, by Curtis Thompson, missed to the right.
The first half was a story of nearly, could have been and almost for both sides. There were plenty of attempts on goal, both goal keepers made some fine saves, but the ball failed to find the back of the net.
The second half carried on in a similar way to the first. The match was looking to be heading towards a draw however in the eighty second minute Coventry City took the lead with a header from Conor Chaplin into the bottom left corner of the Wycombe goal.
In the remaining few minutes Wycombe made several attempts on the Coventry goal but were unable to get themselves back in the game.
Following today’s game Wycombe are now in eighteenth position in League One with twelve points from thirteen games.
