Wycombe Wanderers travelled to Walsall for a League One game on Saturday 27th October 2018.
Both teams had chances in the open few minutes of the game however it was Walsall who took the lead in the thirty sixth minute when Andy Cook headed home from very close range.
At half time Walsall went in still holding a one goal advantage.
Isaiah Osbourne scored a second for Walsall in the fifty second minute with a shot from very close range into the bottom left corner of the Wycombe goal.
However an own goal from Walsall’s Luke Leahy in the eightieth minute brought Wycombe back into the match.
Just a few minutes later, in the eighty fourth minute Wycombe’s Dominic Gape also scored an own goal giving Walsall a three goals to one lead.
Alex Samuel scored a second goal for Wycombe with a close range shot in the ninety third minute of the match.
The match ended as a victory for Walsall by three goals to two. Following today’s game Wycombe are in fifteenth place in League One with eighteen points from sixteen games.
