Bus caught fire at Sawpit Hill, Hazlemere

A bus caught fire at Sawpit Hill, Hazlemere during the early morning of Saturday 3rd November 2018.

Firefighters were called to the incident at 8.01am. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station as well as one from High Wycombe fire station.

When the firefighters arrived the bus had already been evacuated however the fire had spread to trees and a fence. An electrical cable and a telephone cable were also damaged by fire.

Four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, two main jets and two dry powder extinguishers were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.
