A crime prevention meeting on Cons, Scams and Cybercrime Awareness is to be held in Stokenchurch on Tuesday 27th November 2018.

Organised by the Wycombe District Neighbourhood Watch Association, the meeting will take place at 7.30pm in the Stokenchurch Community Library, Wycombe Road, Stokenchurch HP14 3RG.

For anyone arriving by car there is a small car park behind the library, a public car park beside the nearby Kings Hotel and parking is also possible in adjacent roads.

The Wycombe District Neighbourhood Watch Association regards Cons Scams and Cybercrime as the top crime issue at present and represents the vast majority of all current crime.

The meeting is open to everyone, so, if you don’t want to be caught out or just want to find our more about the subject you are invited to come along. There is no admission charge.

Attendees will be able to ask questions of the speakers who know of the very latest scams and can make you aware of them. Being a victim of a scam can be very traumatising, particularly for the elderly, greater awareness is the best defence mechanism.
