Police launch witness appeal after the tyres are slashed on 18 vehicles in Aylesbury

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following incidents of criminal damage to parked cars in Aylesbury.

Between Tuesday 27th November 2018 and Friday 30th November 2018 the tyres were slashed on 18 vehicles that had been parked in the south Aylesbury area.

Damage to vehicles was reported to Police in Harvey Road, Kilner Road, Simpson Place, Lister Green and Treves Green.

Investigating officer PC Mike Cowdrey, based Aylesbury police station, said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who has any information about the incidents or may have seen anyone acting suspiciously around vehicles to get in touch. I would like to ask residents review any CCTV or dash cam footage to see if anything has been captured.

Incidents like this cause significant impact to the victims as they have to take time out of their day to get the tyre replaced and the related expense is considerable.
