Collision on the A404 leaves three people injured
A collision involving three cars occurred on the A404 between Penn Street and Amersham on the morning of Friday 18th January 2019.
Firefighters were called to the incident at 6.57am. One fire appliance with crew attended from Amersham fire station as well as one from Beaconsfield fire station. An officer also attended.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services cleared the wreckage from the carriageway.
Hydraulic rescue equipment to release two women, both of whom were injured, from the vehicles in which they has been travelling. A man was also injured but not trapped.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses who saw the collision take place to contact them.
A404 between #Amersham and #Mopend is closed. Expected to be reopened at 10:30am.
