Arson suspected after pick-up vehicle caught fire in Great Missenden

A pick-up type vehicle caught fire at the junction of Hyde Lane and the A413, near Great Missenden during the early evening of Friday 1st February 2019.

Firefighters were called to the incident at 5.24pm. One fire appliance with crew attended from Amersham fire station.

Two hose reels, a dry powder extinguisher, two sets of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera were used by the firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.

Arson is suspected as the cause of the fire.
