Cyclist sustained serious head injury following collision in Taplow

A 17 year old cyclist sustained a serious head injury following a collision in Taplow on Friday 8th February 2019.

Between 5.55pm and 6.15pm, a cyclist has been knocked of his bicycle while cycling along Berry Lane towards Bath Road in Taplow.

The cyclist was taken to the John Radcliff Hospital with a serious head injury.

Investigating officer PC Ben Eastment of the Roads Policing Unit in Taplow, said: ‘Currently an investigation is ongoing to establish what happened.

One line of enquiry is that a vehicle collided with the cyclist and failed to stop at the scene of this collision.

We would like anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage from Berry Lane around that time on Friday to get in touch.
