Bus stop closures and diversions for the week ahead – Mon 20th May 2019

Week commencing Monday 20th May 2019 the following Bus Stop closures and diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Diversions

Hammersley Lane, High Wycombe : Monday 20th to Friday 24th May 2019. Due to a road closure route 27 will not be able to serve this road during this period and will operate directly along London Road.

Quarrendon Avenue, Aylesbury : Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st May 2019, 7.00am to 7.00pm. Due to a road closure here, buses will need to divert and will not serve stops on Quarrendon Avenue, Holland Road and Coventon Road. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Meadowcroft instead.

Frogmoor, High Wycombe : Monday 27th to Wednesday 29th May 2019, 10.00pm to 6.00am. Due to a road closure by National Rail route 30 and 300 buses will need to divert on these nights and will not serve stops on Frogmoor or Oxford Street.

Mill Road Shabbington : Tuesday 28th to Friday 31st May 2019, 7.00am to 5.00pm. Due to a road closure route 110 will need to operate to a revised timetable. Please see the 110 Temporary timetable for full details. In summary the changes are as follows :

A normal school holiday timetable will operate with the following exceptions:

The 0646 from Cuddington to Worminghall will need to depart at 0635 and run earlier throughout.
The 0721 from Worminghall will need to run earlier as far as Thame and then follow the normal timetable.
The 1015 and 1605 journeys from Aylesbury will arrive later at points beyond Thame.
The 1107 journey from Worminghall will need to run 6 minutes later throughout.
The 1215 journey from Aylesbury will need to depart at 1220 and run later throughout.
The 1307 journey from Worminghall will need to depart at 1321 and then run later throughout.
The 1420 journey from Aylesbury will run 5 minutes later throughout.
The 1659 journey from Worminghall will need to depart at 1705 and run later throughout.
Other journeys and those operated by Z&S are not affected

Bus Stop Suspensions

World’s End Lane, Weston Turville : Monday 15th April to Monday 27th May 2019. Due to development works in the vicinity the two ‘Church Lane’ stops will be suspended during this period. The nearest available stops are at ‘The Chandos’ at the junction of World’s End Lane/Marroway.

Bierton Road, Aylesbury : Monday 20th May 2019, 9.30am to 4.30pm. Due to works in the vicinity the ‘Bierton Road’ stop towards Aylesbury just before the junction with Elmhurst Road/Douglas Road will be suspended at these times. Passengers are advised to use the stop outside the Prison instead.

Berkhampstead Road, Chesham : Monday 20th to Friday 24th May 2019. Due to Cadent Gas works the stop towards the town centre opposite Alma Road will be suspended. A temporary stop will be provided, so please look out for these and hail clearly for the bus.

Desborough Avenue, High Wycombe : Wednesday 22nd to Tuesday 28th May 2019. Due to Thames Water works in the vicinity the ‘Wendover Arms’ stop for journeys travelling away from the town centre will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Plumer Road’ or ‘Carver Hill Road’ stops both located on Desborough Avenue instead.

Cores End Road, Bourne End : Saturday 25th to Sunday 26th May 2019, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to BT works both ‘New Road’ stops will be suspended at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Railway Station’ stops on Station Road instead.

Lower Road, Stoke Mandeville : Tuesday 28th May 2019, 8.30am to 6.00pm. Due to Thames Water works the ‘Ranch House’ stop towards Aylesbury will be suspended at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Bell PH’ stop instead.

Packhorse Road, Gerrards Cross : Tuesday 28th to Friday 31st May 2019, 9am to 4.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the ‘Railway Station, Stop B’ will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘South Park Crescent’ stop further along Packhorse Road.
