Woman punched during robbery at a fast food restaurant in the Market Square, Aylesbury
A woman was punched during a robbery at a fast food restaurant in the Market Square, Aylesbury on Monday 10th June 2019.
The robbery happened at around 3.45pm when a man entered the Subway restaurant in the Market Square, Aylesbury and made threats to the victim, a woman in her twenties, before punching her.
The robber took money from the till before leaving. As a result of being punched the woman sustained reddening to the face however she did not require hospital treatment.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Jemma Tamplin of Force CID in Aylesbury, said: ‘We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of this incident.
The victim in this case was fortunately not seriously hurt, but she is very shaken by incident.
We have started a thorough investigation to establish what happened.

Police have arrested a man, aged 30, from Aylesbury on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident.
