Bus stop closures and diversions for the week ahead – Mon 24th June 2019

Week commencing Monday 24th June 2019 the following Bus Stop closures and diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Diversions

Clifden Road, Worminghall : Monday 24th to Tuesday 25th June 2019, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed. As such the 110 bus will terminate in Ibstone and will not serve Worminghall at these times.

High Street, Aylesbury : Monday 24th to Friday 28th June 2019, 8.00pm to 5.30am. Due to Thames Water works the section of the High Street past Vale Park will be closed between these hours. As such route 500 will divert via Walton Street and Walton Road and the stops on Exchange Street and the lower High Street will not be served on these nights/early morning.

Ivy Lane, Great Brickhill : Tuesday 25th to Friday 28th June 2019, 8.00am to 4pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed, bus route 162 will need to divert and will not serve stops in Great Brickhill on these days.

Quarrendon Avenue/Holland Road : Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June 2019. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed on these days. Buses will divert via Meadowcroft and St Peter’s Avenue and will not serve these streets or the ‘Lay Road’ stops on Coventon Road.

Bus Stop Suspensions

Plomer Green Avenue, High Wycombe : Monday 24th June 2019. Due to Thames Water works in the vicinity the ‘Plomer Green Avenue’ stop travelling away from town will be suspended on this day. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Cross Court Shops’ stop instead.

Leighton Road, Stoke Hammond : Monday 24th to Wednesday 26th June 2019. Due to Anglian Water works both ‘Dolphin PH’ stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use ‘The Green’ stops instead.

Browns Road, Holmer Green : Wednesday 26th June 2019, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to BT Openreach works both ‘Copners Lane’ stops will be suspended at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Browns Road’ stops (either side of the junction with Orchard Way/Browns Road/Pond Approach instead.

Desborough Road, High Wycombe : Sunday 30th June to Wednesday 3rd July 2019, 8.00pm to 6.00am. Due to Thames Water works both ‘Cedar Terrace’ stops will be suspended at these nights. Passengers are advised to use the ‘St John’s Church’ stops instead.
