Charity weekend held at local brewery raises £65,000 for Scannappeal

An open weekend held at the Rebellion brewery in Marlow has raised £65,000 for the Scannappeal local hospital charity.

4,500 people attended the two yearly charity event held from Saturday 29th to Sunday 30th June 2019. Glorious sunshine, free beer and six bands playing over the course of the weekend helped to make the 2019 Rebellion Charity weekend a great success.

The aim of the free weekend is to say thank you to all customers of the Rebellion brewery, whether they drink Rebellion at home or in the pub and raise as much as possible for the local hospital charity.

Over the past seven Charity Open Weekends, Rebellion have now raised just under £300,000 for Scannappeal, which is based at Wycombe Hospital.

While the event is entirely free, money is raised from customers donating while at the event and from staff donations, who are working the event.
