Burglars strike twice in Marlow Road, High Wycombe

Two burglaries in Marlow Road, High Wycombe have resulted in an appeal for witnesses by Thames Valley Police.

On Saturday 6th July 2019, at around 12.25am, a property was broken into in Marlow Road, High Wycombe. Entry was gained through a downstairs window. A woman in her 90s was asleep inside the property. The woman woke to find up to two men in her bedroom, the intruders then fled on foot.

The two men were described to be of tanned skin, around 6ft tall, with a stocky build as well as being clean shaven with short dark hair. Nothing was stolen during the incident.

Another burglary was reported in the same road, which took place

Between 7.00pm on Friday 5th July 2019 and 7.00am on Saturday 6th July 2019 another burglary took place in Marlow Road, High Wycombe. Entry to the property was gained by smashing the rear patio doors. A radio was taken during the burglary.

The description of those suspected to be involved in both incidents are the same and police believe the two offences are linked.
