Jewellery, car keys and bank cards stolen during burglary in Aylesbury

Jewellery, car keys and bank cards were stolen during burglary in Aylesbury on Friday 2nd August 2019.

Sometime between 7.15am and 7.40am two men approached a property in Cumberland Close, Aylesbury and searched two cars parked at the address.

The offenders then entered the house through a ground floor window, stealing a quantity of jewellery, car keys and bank cards. They left the scene on foot, walking in the direction of Penrith Way.

The offenders are described as white men, aged in their late teens to mid-twenties.

One man was wearing black trousers and a light coloured top with a hood, while the other man was dressed in light coloured clothing with a hood.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Emma Francis of Aylesbury CID, said: ‘This was an offence that occurred in broad daylight, and I am appealing to anybody who saw any suspicious activity in the area between 7.15am and 7.40am on Friday [2nd August 2019] to contact police.

I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who has dash-cam or CCTV footage from the area at around these times to check this and contact us if there is anything suspicious being shown.
