Man threatened with knife in a supermarket car park in High Wycombe

A man was threatened with a knife during an assault in a supermarket car park in High Wycombe.

On Thursday 15th August 2019, at around 9.30pm, a man in his thirties was in the car park of Morrisons supermarket in Parker Knoll Way, High Wycombe. The man in his thirties then approached another man. The man who he approached then threatened the man in his thirties with a knife.

Investigating officer, PC Mark Palethorpe, based at High Wycombe police station said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

I would also ask drivers to check any dash-cam footage that they may have from the car park around the time of the incident in case it has captured anything that could assist us with this investigation.

Police have arrested a 39 year old man, of no fixed abode, in connection with the incident. The man was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of a bladed/pointed article in a public place. The 39 year old man has been released on police bail until Thursday 12th September 2019.
