Bus stop suspensions and service diversions for the week ahead – Monday 23rd September 2019

Week commencing Monday 23rd September 2019 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Stop Suspensions

A41, Aston Clinton Road, Aylesbury : Wednesday 17th July until Thursday 31st October 2019. Due to development and road layout works the two ‘Holiday Inn’ stops will be suspended for this period. The nearest served alternatives are the ‘Peugeot Garage’ or the ‘Bedgrove Lights’ stops.

New Road, High Wycombe : Monday 2nd to Saturday 28th September 2019, 9.30am to 4.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire Footway works the stops just north of Bookerhill Road will be suspended at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Rowan Avenue’ stops on Bookerhill Road instead.

Marsh Lane, Dorney Reach : Monday 9th September to Thursday 31st October 2019. Due to works on behalf of Cadent Gas the ‘Harcourt Road’ stop towards Maidenhead will be suspended on these dates. 63 and 68 passengers are advised to wait back along the road directly opposite the shelter in the other direction.

Hughenden Avenue, High Wycombe : Wednesday 18th September to Wednesday 2nd October 2019. Due to gas main replacement works both ‘Brindley Avenue’ stops will be suspended during this period. Passengers are advised to use the stops on The Pastures.

Wycombe Lane, Wooburn Green : Saturday 21st September 2019, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Thames Water works the ‘Wycombe Lane’ stop near School Road will be suspended at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Glory Mill Lane’ stop instead.

West Street, Marlow : Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th September 2019. Due to Thames Water works the ‘Spinfield Lane’ stop towards High Wycombe will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘West Street’ stop on Oxford Street instead.

Aylesbury Road, Bierton : Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th September 2019, 7.00pm to 6.00am. Due to Thames Water works both ‘Burcott Lane’ stops will be suspended on these nights. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Bell’ stops instead.

Totteridge Road/Bowerdean Road : High Wycombe, Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th September 2019. Due to works on behalf of BT Openreach all 4 ‘Bowerdean Crossroads’ and both ‘Lucas Road’ stops will be suspended on these days. Temporary stops will be supplied in place nearby outside BT’s traffic management. Please wait by the temporary stops and hail clearly for the bus to stop.

Bradenham Road, Bradenham / West Wycombe : Monday 23rd September to Friday 4th October 2019. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the ‘Bradenham Road’ stop with the wooden shelter will be suspended on these days. A temporary stop will be provided nearby.
