The High Wycombe Christmas Light Festival will take place on Thursday 21st November 2019.
Organised by HWBIDCo, the annual event will start at 12.00pm and end at 7.30pm with street entertainment, children’s rides, a Christmas themed market, live music and festive food stalls.
At 6.45pm the Christmas lights will be switched on outside the Guildhall in the High Street by Curtis Pritchard, a dancer and former Love Island finalist, who is the star of this years Dick Whittington pantomime at the Wycombe Swan which opens on Friday 13th December 2019 and runs through to Sunday 5th January 2020.
The timetable of events will be as follows :
- 12.00pm Food, music and craft stalls.
- 3.30pm Santa arrives with his reindeer.
- 5.00pm Music and entertainment (High Street).
- 5.30pm Parade begins at The Swan (High Street).
- 6.45pm Light switch on outside the Guildhall.
- 7.30pm Festival ends.
To coincide with the Christmas Light Festival there will be free parking all day in the car parks operated by Wycombe District Council on Thursday 21st November 2019 and free parking from midday in the Eden Shopping Centre car park.
